Game Features and Bonuses
Layout: The game is set on a 5-reel, 4-row grid, providing a familiar structure for spinning action. Winning combinations are formed by landing three or more matching symbols on consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel.
Special Symbols: Wild symbols are included, which can substitute for other paying symbols to help create or extend winning combinations. Landing five Wilds on a payline offers a payout of 10x the bet.
Free Spins: Triggered by landing 4 or more Scatter symbols, this feature awards 15 Free Spins, with an additional 5 spins for each extra Scatter up to a maximum of 45. During Free Spins, all unlocked Reel Multipliers are added together and applied to the win.
Bonus Rounds: The Stick Spin Win feature activates after any winning combination, causing winning symbols to stick while non-winning symbols respin. This continues as long as new symbols are added to the win or a new winning line is formed.
Unique Features: Reel Multipliers are displayed above each reel, ranging from 2x to 500x. Filling a reel with winning symbols applies its corresponding multiplier to the win. In the base game, only the highest unlocked multiplier is applied, but in Free Spins, all unlocked multipliers combine. A Feature Buy option allows direct access to the Free Spins round for 100x the bet.
Gameplay Mechanics and Strategies
Unique Mechanics: Shadow Treasure incorporates the Stick Spin Win mechanic, which can lead to extended winning sequences from a single spin. This mechanic, combined with Reel Multipliers, offers dynamic win potential as symbols lock into place and multipliers activate.
In-Game Dynamics: The game's medium-high volatility means that wins may be less frequent but have the potential to be larger. The interaction between the Stick Spin Win and Reel Multipliers, especially during Free Spins, can significantly impact payout sizes.
Player Strategy: While no strategy can alter the game's inherent RTP, understanding the mechanics can inform player choices. Utilizing the Feature Buy option, where available, allows players to directly engage with the Free Spins round, which offers enhanced multiplier potential. Managing bankroll effectively is crucial due to the medium-high volatility.
