Game Features and Bonuses
Layout: The game features a standard 5 reels and 4 rows grid, providing 20 fixed paylines for winning combinations.
Special Symbols: The golden Viking acts as the scatter symbol, appearing on reels 1, 3, and 5 to trigger features. Lower-paying symbols are represented by card ranks (10-A), while higher-paying symbols are various Vikings.
Random Awards: During the spins, each reel can randomly receive one of five different level awards. Landing two scatter symbols triggers one of these awards, with potential multipliers applied to the bet. In the bonus game, up to seven level awards per reel are possible.
Free Spins: Landing three scatter symbols activates the Free Spins feature, granting 10 free spins. During this round, the highest-paying Viking symbols are associated with specific reels. Each Viking symbol that lands is collected, increasing multipliers as levels are achieved.
Bonus Buy: Players have the option to instantly trigger the Free Spins feature by paying 100x their current bet, bypassing the need to land scatter symbols naturally.
Gameplay Mechanics and Strategies
Unique Mechanics: The game's core mechanic revolves around the Random Awards and the Free Spins collection system. In Free Spins, collecting Viking symbols levels up multipliers on specific reels, with the highest-valued Viking at the end determining the final prize. This collection phase becomes particularly exciting as players aim to unlock higher multipliers.
In-Game Dynamics: During the base game, the Random Awards feature provides instant wins, adding intermittent excitement. The Free Spins round introduces a progression system where collecting specific symbols enhances potential payouts as the feature progresses, creating anticipation for the final award.
Player Strategy: While no strategy can alter the game's inherent RTP, understanding the Free Spins collection mechanic can help players appreciate the potential for larger wins towards the end of the bonus round. Given the game's extreme volatility, managing your bankroll effectively is a crucial aspect of playing Pub Kings.
