How It Plays
Blackjack VIP 15 follows the standard Evolution Live Blackjack rules. Players aim to get a hand value closer to 21 than the dealer, without exceeding 21. Eight decks are used, and the dealer stands on all 17s (both hard and soft). Blackjack pays 3:2. Players can double down on any initial two cards and can double after splitting. Only one split is allowed per hand, and aces receive only one additional card after splitting. There is no surrender option. The dealer takes one hole card and peeks for blackjack only when an Ace is showing. If the dealer has blackjack, the player loses the total amount wagered, including any doubles or splits. Insurance is offered when the dealer shows an Ace, paying 2:1, but this bet carries a negative expected value in the long run.
In addition to the main game, Blackjack VIP 15 offers three optional side bets:
21+3: Based on the player's first two cards and the dealer's up-card forming a three-card poker hand.
Perfect Pairs: Pays out if the player's first two cards form a pair (mixed, colored, or perfect).
Bet Behind: Allows players to wager on another seated player's hand, riding on their decisions.

Strategy and Bankroll
Optimal play in blackjack involves using basic strategy, which is a mathematically derived set of decisions for every possible hand combination against the dealer's up-card. Adhering to basic strategy minimizes the house edge to its lowest possible point. Deviations from basic strategy will increase the house edge.
For bankroll management, it's crucial to set limits and stick to them. Given that Blackjack VIP 15 is designed for higher stakes, a larger bankroll is generally advisable compared to standard tables. The optional side bets, while offering higher payouts, come with a significantly higher house edge (5-6 times that of the main hand), meaning they will deplete a bankroll much faster over time. Players should consider these bets as entertainment rather than a core part of their strategy.
